PGT, TGT & Physical Instructor (Contractual)

Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW), Indian Railways, is engaging PGT, TGT, and Physical Instructors on a purely contractual and part-time basis for the academic session 2026–27. Selected candidates will serve in Railway Schools including D.V. (Girls), D.V. (Boys), and CHS (EM).

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering curriculum-based instruction in Hindi, English, or Bengali mediums as per school requirements.

Organizing and supervising co-curricular and physical education activities.

Maintaining student records and participating in school developmental meetings.

Note: This engagement is temporary and does not confer any right for regular appointment in Railways.

Education: Master’s degree (for PGT) or Bachelor’s degree (for TGT) with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject.

Professional: B.Ed. or equivalent (for TGT/PGT) or B.P.Ed. (for Physical Instructor).

Competency: Proficiency in teaching through Hindi, English, or Bengali medium as per the specific post requirement.

Desirable: Knowledge of computer applications.

Medical: Candidates must meet the prescribed medical standard (C-2) as part of the selection process.
