Assistant Professor (Grade-I / Grade-II)

Indian Institute of Information Technology Raichur (IIIT Raichur) is inviting applications for 8 faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level (Grade-I and Grade-II). The institute seeks candidates with a strong academic background and a proven track record of research excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Delivering high-quality academic instruction and mentoring students.

Conducting independent research and publishing in top-tier journals/conferences.

Supervising doctoral research and securing external research funding.

Participating in departmental activities and institutional development.

Grade-II (Level 10/11) is on a contractual basis, while Grade-I (Level 12) is a regular position.

Assistant Professor Grade II (L-10): Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.

Assistant Professor Grade II (L-11): Ph.D. plus 1 year post-Ph.D. experience at Level 10 or equivalent.

Assistant Professor Grade I (L-12): Ph.D. plus 3 years post-Ph.D. experience OR 6 years total experience after M.Tech (excluding Ph.D. period).

Age Limit: Preferably below 35 years.

Academic Record: Consistently excellent academic performance from graduation onwards.
